9.	10/24/09	Just got back from Lake of the Woods. Did very good for the week but the bigger fish are still in the lake. We had 5-10 mph winds all week so was able to hit the lake. Caught several slot fish and on 10/21 landed 299 eyes, 25" bigest no river fish yet.

44.	10/06/08	Almost forgot - Gold is hot at LOTW too. There are no chips for the Red or Traverse Bay I know of. There is a base map in my Lowrance 113. Hopefully someday we'll get one!
45.	10/06/08	Rainy River - You'll want a selection of jigs in 1/4 to 3/4 oz for fishing the Rainy. It really depends on what areas you fish. John fished there last year. I'd suggest some more natural baits and flouro's. Glow Red is one of my favorites at LOTW.

75.	12/23/07	informative site- I do a lot of trolling on the allegheny resevoir (kinzua) and do real well on 9 shad raps that i get down deep on light fireline . I also get em on lead core using smithwick rogues in the shallow floater and 9 rapala floaters .

77.	10/29/07	The date is now October 29th and the Red is still doing what very few other fisheries can do, and that is produce loads of huge walleye! The hard water season is just around the corner and it's going to be a good one!

106.	07/10/06	RE: Carp Recipe's. My good friend Wally Minchow loves carp, even eats the tail. Just takes 30 minutes in the oil. I recommend putting them in the garden under sweet corn.
